Student game in need of: asset creators, game writers
Hey guys!
I am a composer and sound designer coming to the end of my Masters in Sound Design. For my final project I have (rather ambitiously) decided to create my own video game using Unity. Sound will play a key part in the story and is essentially a crucial plot device. The game is going to be following in the vein of narrative games such as EGTTR and Firewatch. It's going to be a mystery game, and I have opted to go down the low poly route for graphic style.
Now, this is where I would really LOVE some help from you beautiful game devs!! The setting of my game is going to be 1940s Britain, so I was wondering if anyone might feel like making some 40's style assets? I have a wonderful student who's already offered to make me an awesome 40's style low poly radio. Other things I'd be on the lookout for are mainly other furnishings, such as a desk, bookcase, grandfather clock, etc. If you can help with anything like that I would be SO grateful!
Also, whilst I have an overarching plotline in place, I could really benefit from a game writer to help me get from A to B with style! If you think you can help at all, I would love to hear from you.
What can I offer in return? Sadly, I have not a penny to my name. - I'm so sorry I can't offer payment. However, as a composer/ sound designer I would be more than willing to trade skill for skill and offer a piece of music or some sound design in return for any help you can offer. You will also be fully credited for your help, and hey - if the game shows promise we could see about taking it a step further (but that's a scary thought to me right now, so let's not think about that *just* yet )
Thanks for reading!
